At 4.8 miles, the Backbone Trail turns off of Mesa Peak Motorway onto a 0.6-mile long singletrack that takes you down to a parking area off Malibu Creek Road. My mountain bike has full suspension with a dropper seat post. I've done the same section with my mountain bike without any problems. Finally, my front tire fell into a ditch and I went flying over the bars.
